Οι ΦΙΛΟΙ της ΦΥΣΗΣ/Naturefriends Greece  στηρίζουν το Βαλκανικό  Ecotopia Biketour 2014,  από 10 Ιουλίου έως 30 Σεπτεμβρίου με θέμα «against exploitation towards sovereignty».

Το Ελληνικό Δίκτυο ΦΙΛΟΙ της ΦΥΣΗΣ/Naturefriends Greece στηρίζει την ποδηλατική  οικολογική παρέμβαση ακτιβισμού της  «αυτοσχέδιας» κινητής κοινότητας  Ecotopia Biketour 2014 με θέμα «against exploitation towards sovereignty».

Η 20^η ετήσια  διαδρομή της ποδηλατικής κοινότητας Ecotopia θα πραγματοποιηθεί από 10 Ιουλίου μέχρι 30 Σεπτεμβρίου και συμπεριλαμβάνει επισκέψεις, διανυκτερεύσεις και παρεμβάσεις, σε συνεργασία με τοπικούς υποστηρικτές, σε περιοχές που αντιμετωπίζουν σοβαρά περιβαλλοντικά ή κοινωνικά προβλήματα.  Το πρόγραμμα επισκέψεων και παρεμβάσεων της Ecotopia περιλαμβάνει τις εξής περιοχές:  Θεσσαλονίκη, Νις, Πρίστινα, Σκόπια, Χαλκιδική, Εύβοια, Αθήνα (θα ακολουθήσει αναλυτικό πρόγραμμα).

Οι ΦτΦ/NFGR που είχαν στο σχεδιασμό τους να οργανώσουν μια παρόμοια ποδηλατική παρέμβαση, στηρίζει τώρα την Ecotopia Biketour 2014 με τους εξής τρόπους α) Με ενημέρωση των μελών και φίλων μας σε όλη την Ελλάδα και την Ευρώπη (Mail, Αναρτήσεις, Ενημερωτικά Δελτία κ.λπ) β) Εκτύπωση και διακίνηση του πρωτότυπου ενημερωτικού υλικού της ECOTOPIA σε φεστιβάλ και εκδηλώσεις που διοργανώνουν ή και που συμμετέχουν οι ΦτΦ γ) Με διαφημιστικά μπλουζάκια των ΦτΦ δ) Με την παροχή κάθε βοήθειας σε διανυκτερεύσεις και υποδοχή και σε όλη τη διαδρομή ε) Με «καθημερινό» ρεπορτάζ της διαδρομής της ECOTOPIA.

Η Ecotopia Biketour αυτοσυστήνεται:

Η Ecotopia Biketour είναι μία οικολογική «αυτοσχέδια» κινητή κοινότητα η οποία εξασκεί μορφές ακτιβισμού, εναλλακτικούς τρόπους οργάνωσης και αειφορικής διαβίωσης σε διάφορες περιοχές της Ευρώπης, τα τελευταία 20 χρόνια.

Η Biketour είναι ανοιχτή σε όποιονδήποτε ενδιαφέρεται για αυτοσχέδιες κατασκευές, ακτιβισμό, για το περιβάλλον, για την κοινοτική διαβίωση, και για τη βιωματική μάθηση μέσα από διαφορετικούς πολιτισμούς, μέσα από τις προκλήσεις που προσφέρει η ζωή, και μέσα από τις σχέσεις των ανθρώπων. Τελικά, την κοινότητα την δημιουργούμε εμείς οι ίδιοι κάθε φορά. Εμείς δημιουργούμε το Biketour!

Όταν βρισκόμαστε στο δρόμο μοιραζόμαστε δεξιότητες, εξασκούμε τη συναίνεση, και δρούμε κοινοτικά για να δημιουργήσουμε ένα περιβάλλον άτυπης, μη ιεραρχικής, βιωματικής μάθησης. Μαγειρεύουμε ντόπια φαγητά χρησιμοποιώντας ένα αυτοσχέδιο rocket stove (ψηστιέρα από τούβλα ή ντενεκέδες) και κουβαλάμε τα πάντα σε ποδήλατα και τρέηλερ. Είμαστε μία εξελισσόμενη συνειδητή κοινότητα!

Επισκεπτόμαστε εγχειρήματα που ασχολούνται με την οικολογία, την αυτάρκεια, την κοινοτική διαβίωση με χαμηλό οικολογικό αποτύπωμα, την ποδηλασία, τον κοινωνικό και περιβαλλοντικό ακτιβισμό, προκειμένου να διδαχθούμε από αυτούς και να μοιραστούμε ιδέες, με αντάλλαγμα τη βοήθειά μας. Αν γνωρίζετε κάποιο τέτοιο εγχείρημα, που θα μπορούσε να μας φιλοξενήσει, παρακαλούμε ενημερώστε μας!

Κάθε χρόνο οργανώνουμε συλλογικά μία νέα πορεία, δίνοντας έμφαση σε κάποιο θέμα όπως τη διατροφική αυτάρκεια, την βιώσιμη/εναλλακτική οικονομία, ή την παγκόσμια δικαιοσύνη. Φέτος θα ασχοληθούμε με τους τρόπους που βρίσκουν οι άνθρωποι να ξεπερνούν τις κρίσεις, βρίσκοντας οράματα για την αλλαγή και δημιουργώντας εναλλακτικούς τρόπους διαβίωσης. Μέρος της οργανωτικής επιτροπής βρίσκεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Από τα μέσα Ιουλίου μέχρι το τέλος Αυγούστου θα ποδηλατούμε στη νότια Βαλκανική χερσόνησο. Ελάτε μαζί μας!

Naturefriends Greece cooperates and supports Ecotopia Biketour 2014 under the slogan «against exploitation towards sovereignty».

The 2014 route is now looking very exciting! They will be cycling through, around and over the Balkan mountains… but, don’t worry, there will be as many downhills as there are uphills and also there will be many breaks at many inspiring projects! Stops and sleep overs in places that face serious environmental and/or social problems or at places that stand out as examples of cooperation. The trip will start from Sofia-Bulgaria, move on to Nis, Pristina, Skopje, Thesaloniki, Halkidiki, Evia and end in Athens-Greece. See the full programme. It will be easier for the attendants to join or leave the group at bigger cities, like Sofia, Pristina, Skopje, Thessaloniki and Athens (end of tour).

Nature friends Greece will be supporting Ecotopia Biketour throughout the itinerary by the following ways:

a) Inviting and informing members and Naturefriends either from Greece or Europe to join the bike tour (especially during their visit to Halkidiki area)

b)Informing with emails and posts before and during the Ecotopia biketour

c)Offering  Naturefriends T-shirts

d)Offering help in accomodation or escort whenever there are Naturefriends members

About Ecotopia Biketour:

Ecotopia Biketour is for anyone interested in do-it-yourself, environmentalism, activism, community life and experiential learning, from cultures, from challenges, and from each other. But ultimately, it is whatever you make of it! You are the Biketour!  

Biketour is a project which promotes a sustainable way of life by cycling, helping out on projects we visit, doing media work and participating in and organising actions. We participate in actions organised by local groups and are always keen to plan and implement various actions ourselves.

On the Biketour we aim to create a non-discriminatory environment, where sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia/cissexism, xenophobia, antisemitism, antiziganism and any other discriminatory practices are not tolerated.

The Biketour aims to provide opportunities for non-formal education. Here as well, everyone is encouraged to take an active role into making this aspect of the Biketour a success. If you think that you could give workshops on a specific topic or share a skill, you are more than welcome to do so.

We try to reduce, reuse and recycle. Please reduce your waste as much as possible – do not take many plastic bags while shopping, try to buy food without wrapping, try not to buy canned food. Keep in mind while shopping that we want to leave as little as possible for future archaeologists ;).

The Biketour is organised by a voluntary group of Biketour advocates and participants new and old, who mainly operate on a mailing list and on the Biketour wiki. Each year a few people step up to do the larger portion of coordination for a few months on location in the area of the upcoming biketour while being assisted by people contributing online from various parts of the world or at shorter term visits.

Every year we colectivey organise a new route, emphasizing o topic like food sufficiency, sustainable/alternative economy, global fairness. This year we will concentrate on people's ways to fight crisis, dreaming and working on change, solidarity and alternative ways of living. Part of the coordination team is already based at Thesaloniki. From mid July to late September we will be cycling in the south of Balcans. Join us.
